Rush Hour 4 may happen, If Chris Tucker Agrees!
Actor, Martial Artist and Business man Jackie Chan has recently confirmed that a 4 installment of the Rush hour series is in the works!
He was seen speaking on the popular Radio program, The “Cruz show” when he shared the news. Jackie said the script for the film is being finished and will be coming next year. “For the last 7 years we’ve been turning down scripts. Yesterday we just agreed [on] the script. [It will come] probably at the end of this month. The second draft. Next year will probably start [filming],” he said.
The original Rush Hour came out in 1998 and starred Chan and comedian Chris Tucker. The first sequel dropped just three years later in 2001 and seemed to take the series to the next level. Rush Hour 3 took a little bit longer to make since Chris Tucker pretty much stopped making movies after the second one. After years of delays, it dropped in 2007. There was also a television sitcom that debuted on CBS last year which was loosely based on the film. It was canceled after just one season. The first two films were accompanied by huge hip-hop and R&B hits. The soundtrack to the original featured Jay-Z’s “Can I Get A” which became one of his biggest hits to date and introduced Ja Rule to the world.
